Fabrics, Woven Glass Fibre & Silica Cloth

Thermal Protection Fabrics: Uses include fume/heat curtains, welding blankets. 

 

Heat Stabilised - General purpose, heat curtain and molten metal spray protection. 

 

Graphite Finish - Specially treated to provide heat protection and abrasion resistance. 

 

Welding Blankets - Specially Treated. Sizes: 0.9m x 1.8m & 1.8m x 1.8m  

Silica Fabrics - Higher temperature resistance, treated for abrasion resistance. 

 

Coated and treated - In addition we offer a vast range of fabrics treated and coated with various polymers and elastomers to suit a range of applications and services.

 

 

 

 

Sleeving, Thermal and Abrasion Protection

Service: Protection from heat and molten metal splash and sparks. Also provides abrasion resistance. For protection of pipes, hoses and cables.

Construction: Silicone coated texturised glass knitted sleeving. Available in Red or Silver.

Internal diameter range: 6, 10, 12, 16, 19, 25, 32, 38, 44 and 50mm

Tadpole Tapes and Fabricated Seals

Service: Manufactured to suit applications for oven and furnace door seals, fume and flue ducts and countless other applications where there is a requirement to seal from the effects of heat and flame.

Construction: Manufactured from either continuous filament glass, ceramic, aramid or oxidised specialty yarns. Specific weave types and cores are offered to provide flexibility, robustness and recovery. Various coatings or treatments, including graphite and silicone are offered to improve stability and reduce the effects of high temperature and abrasion.

  

 

 

 

High Temperature Door and Lid Seals

Service: High temperature applications, such as boiler, oven and furnace door seals, transport tanker lid seals and crucible lid seals. Industries include aluminium refining, steel production, transport and general industry.

Construction: Braided from either continuous filament glass, ceramic, aramid or oxidised specialty yarns. Specific braid types and cores are offered to provide flexibility, robustness and recovery. Various coatings or treatments, including graphite and silicone are offered to improve stability and reduce the effects of high temperature and abrasion.
